Sometime it is difficult to express anger, hurt and jelousy in a relationship. Sudden explosions of anger can be regretted but may leave significant and lasting effects in a relationship. In the worst cases a domestic violence order (DVO) can be issued and dads can soon separated from their children. Courts frequently order men to undergo rehabilitation through domestic violence courses that hold the promise of improved access to their children.
This DV support group for men is not part of a court ordered program but a safe resource for men to explore issues associated with rebuilding relationships, connecting with their children and developing support in their life.
Unlike other domestic violence programs we are not part of a church group, we do not talk down to you like a child. We are professional counsellors who would like you to build happy and safe relationships.
All sessions are fully confidential.
